The Utah County Republican Party is governed by a Constitution and Bylaws which establish a Steering Committee comprised of four elected and five appointed party officers to carry on the day to day operation of the Party, an Executive Committee comprised of the Steering Committee plus the Legislative District Chairs to provide direction and support, and a Central Committee to approve and/or ratify all official actions by the Party.

The principles of the Party are stated in a Platform which is developed and from time to time amended through a process of public hearings and committee meetings after which it is presented to a convention of all the County Delegates who are elected by their neighbors at Precinct Caucuses held every even numbered year.
